I just loved taking photos of this family. The camera ate them up. And so did my mouse while I edited their session...gorgeous-ness! So fun!

This little brother and sister were so well behaved and so stinkin' cute! There is nothing better in the world than siblings! Love my job.

Home for the holidays | Farmington, NM Family Photography | Liz Applegate
I loved working with this beautiful family. Mom has made the home so festive and beautiful. So, so many beautiful Christmas decos up. And the woodwork in the home - breathtaking! Matt, her son, is a wood craftsman and really knows his stuff! Berneice (Dad's mom) was 96 years old and still going strong. She was a lot of fun to have as well in the pictures. Thanks so much to you all for letting me be a part of your family memories!
Take a loo at this front door. Matt, the son on the left, created this beautiful masterpiece. So cool!
Four generations!

Dollar Family | Farmington, NM Family photography | Liz Applegate
So on a fairly cold day, this great family braved the cold and we went out to the sandstones for some great pictures. We were surprised by Mom's family who had just come into town to surprise them (although the surprise was already somewhat ruined by her brother's blog - dang technology!). So we got to do a short mini session with her family (see here for some of their shots) and then all of their family to boot. I was so elated! Take a look at these cute kids!
Love this shot my assistant Ashley took of one of those quiet moments between Mom and daughter.
Strength in the Storm - Meet the Schilhabels | Farmington, NM Family Photography
On September 5, Tyler Schilhabel was involved in an ATV accident which left him paralyzed from the waist down. This young man is an inspiration to us all. I have been following with great intent his progress and his great perspective on life. I was fortunate enough to be doing Tyler's sister's family pictures the day they came in to surprise both she and her other sister (Nichole). I was there when Brooke saw them for the first time here in Farmington. What a great reunion. Here are the pics of Tyler and those members of his family still at home. What an inspiration to us all. You go Tyler. If you are interested, here is a link to his blog where you can read his updates as well as those included from his family.

The Stowells | Farmington, NM Family Photographer
Meet the Stowell family. These are two of the most caring parents you will ever meet. They have 3 three beautiful children and are so good with each one of them. Thanks so much for letting me share your family.
his little guy has ben through it all. When he was just a baby he was shaken by his babysitter and suffered Shaken Baby Syndrome. And yet through it all, he has remained the happiest little guy you could ever meet. He loves everyone he meets and wants to give them a hug. We love you Reesie!
