Brittany and Ben Married | Wedding Photographer | Liz Applegate

Wow! It has been awhile since I have posted a wedding shoot. We must be moving into the wedding season, however, as I have a whole slew lined up.

Ben and Brittany were married in the Jordan River Mormon LDS Temple. It threatened to rain -- in fact there was a 60% chance of rain for the day. But the rain held out for the pictures before the wedding and for the group shots after the wedding and then - BAM! Hail, wind, rain, bluster!

We headed back to Farmington for a reception on Saturday and that was beautiful too -- so glad it was inside however as the rain did NOT hold out for that one. The weekend was so great.

Ben and Brittany decided to do First Look (where the groom sees the bride BEFORE the wedding). This way you get more shoots AND you can spend that special time -- where he sees the bride for the first time in her beautiful gown -- together ALONE (well with the photographer, of course!). Anyway, look at his face when he sees her for the first time.

Recently I was given the sheer joy of shooting this wedding. Steve and Lacy met through a mutual friend at Three Rivers. One thing led to another and now they are getting married!

Steve was so cute as he cried, looking at his beautiful bride. It was so touching. The location was beautiful and all of the decorations came together for such a fantastic fall setting. Take a look.

So a couple of weeks ago we went and shot a wedding in the beautiful mountains of Mancos, CO at the beautiful Echo Basin Ranch. Misty got her dress at Silk Bridal Boutique and she looked so pretty.

The four groomsmen were such a hoot. They have been buddies forever and you could definitely tell. Now of the 5, 3 of them are married.

The event was put together with the able hand of Mari Chavez of Elite Events by Mari. It made it so easy to stay exactly on schedule. I really recommend working with a wedding coordinator, that way you are not having to worry about every detail on a day you should be ENJOYING yourself. Just let them deal with all of the headaches. This one was really a very nice "party". Enjoy the pictures.

So this is the fabulous wedding I got to shoot at the Country Club a couple of weeks ago! It was such a fun/crazy experience.
