Meet Janey and Warner. I love this couple. They were so full of fun ideas - and talk about drop dead gorgeous! Warner is the strong silent type, but is so full of mischief. Janey just stands there, smiles and bedazzles the camera. Such a great couple. Can't wait to do their wedding in June.

This couple was so fun to work with. We shot this session in Salt Lake City as I was there to help my mom and they were down from school in Idaho. The weather was overcast and had been cold, cold all weekend. But the day of the shoot, voila! still overcast (which is a little known secret -- this is the best lighting to shoot in) but the weather was into the 40s. Right after we finished the shoot -- well, let's just say cats and dogs describes it best. They were troopers and so fun to shoot. Their love was infectious and they were so happy to just be together. Ah young love! Gotta love it!

When Country meets City | Destination Engagement Photographer | Liz Applegate

I drove down to Lindrith, NM last Thursday for this engagement shoot. As I was driving down I saw lots of juniper and lots of shrubs, but really not a whole lot else. I was getting really worried, but when I showed up at Cory's family ranch, voila! they had ALL kinds of fun things to shoot.

Let me tell you a little bit about this couple. She drives a Beamer and wears turquoise leopard high heels. When he is at home (the ranch) he wears his cowboy hat, boots and jeans. But Cory is kind of a conundrum! In his other life (the one he lives day to day) he is a pro golfer -- FOR A LIVING! He gets to play golf and do it for money. What would that be like -- doing what you like to do for a living (oh wait! that's what *I* get to do!). Anyway, we had such a great time and got such great shots. What a perfect couple these two make. Enjoy.

I just love this couple. I especially think the young man is like crazy handsome (he's my son). We went out on a bitter cold day and took these pictures. That's why in some of the shots their noses look a little red. We had fun, though, and would do it all over again. Thanks you guys...
