I was so excited to do photos of a little boy. I had just got some new props and couldn't wait to try them out. This little guy was just the ticket. He has such a handsome older brother and mom and dad. They are so excited to have him in their family.

...Although you have to love big brother's face in this picture. It pretty much sums up how he felt about the whole picture experience. So cute...

Take a look at this sweet little newborn. Okay he was really almost a month old which makes it so much harder to get these sleepy shots. And boy did he fight us with sleeping. But Mom and I persisted and, ooh! He slept so good for us so we could get some really good ones. His parents are so tickled pink (or should I say "blue") to have him in their lives. So I LOVE newborn shoots. They are a little trickier than other shoots and take so much longer than the others, but I just LOVE. LOVE. LOVE the smell and aura of new little babies. Something about having just come from heaven makes them so loveable. Anyway, this little guy was NOT going to go to sleep for us -- and he was only 7 days old. Mom and I worked so long and finally at 11:00 p.m. at night we called it a wrap. (I have never seen a baby SMILE at 7 days old -- and these were full on smiles, not "gas" smiles, lol). HOWEVER, we got such sweet pictures of this little darling that it was all worth it in the end. Love you little Matthew. (Oh, of course big sister had to be included too!)

Liam - newborn

This little guy was so cute. He was only 12 days old and all I wanted to do was love on him. I LOVE the smell of newborns. So fresh. So new. Love. Love. Love.

He, however, had different ideas. He just wanted Mom, to eat and to be left alone to sleep. Ahh! Wouldn't that be the life?! Anyway, take a look at little Liam.
